One-on-One: Some students prefer, for scheduling or pedagogical reasons, to prepare via our One-on-One program. Students in the One-on-One program are required to complete 2-3 hours of homework (memorization exercises, targeted practice, and further diagnostic testing) between tutoring sessions.
In our experience, this translates into a minimum of 4 sessions per test section, although obviously we pay close attention to diagnostic scores as the ultimate gauge of progress. Typically, student needs to have 2-3 practice test results in their desired score range to have the best chance to see those results reflected on test day.
Test results following the initial series of One-on-One frame a second, more targeted, One-on-One series.
If scores plateau over the course of the One-on-One sessions, we will schedule a parent-tutor-student check point meeting.
